Museum of Neanderthals represents a magical and mystical idea of the prehistoric people of Europe. They are one of the many secrets of the beginning of human race. Even to this day we still ask ourselves who were those people that lived between 30,000 and almost 300,000 years ago.
Zrmanja river with its crystal clear waters wiggle through a 200m deep canyon, creating on the way many beautiful limestone waterfalls, of which the 11m high "Veliki buk" is the most impressive one. Zrmanja is known for its inaccessible canyon, which can only be experienced by boat or kayak/raft. Kayaking is ideal for everyone up for an active vacation and good fun in nature. The difference between kayaking and rafting is that when rafting there is a skipper in every raft, and when kayaking skippers follow the group according to relay race regime, whereby all checkpoints on track are secured.
